Steve Reed, CHFM Honored as a 2011 Emerging Regional Leader

CHICAGO, Ill. (November 15, 2011) – During the ASHE 48th Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition, Steve Reed, CHFM, with Northwest Medical Center, in Winfield, AL, was recognized as an Emerging Regional Leader Award recipient. This influential award is presented to one ASHE member from each of ASHE’s ten geographic regions for their leadership and accomplishments in the field of healthcare engineering and facilities management.
A member of ASHE since 2006, Steve is actively involved with his local ASHE chapter, the Alabama Society for Healthcare Engineering, helping to enhance the field of healthcare facilities management. His work ethic, dependability and common sense approach to handling and solving problems demonstrates his commitment to the profession and to the Society. As a recipient of this years’ award, Steve will be invited to attend ASHE’s annual leadership training program and to serve as a volunteer on selected ASHE committees/taskforce which will significantly impact the future of ASHE.
